Emerging Challenges Consortium (ECC) Expansion!

The Southeastern Innovation Institute (SEII) initiated the SEII Emerging Challenges Consortium (ECC) in July 2020, promoting a unique network of collaborators to ensure quick and efficient delivery of technology solutions to enhance the nation’s abilities to support national security and the defense mission of the United States. The ECC’s two guiding principles are to be an inclusive conduit between the Government and economic/technology ecosystems, and to seek out fresh talent from non-traditional sources. With a diverse network, experience in technology, understanding of non-traditional entities, and economic development expertise in commercialization and technology transfer, the ECC is uniquely positioned to tackle emerging challenges to the nation’s security.

As of Jan 2022, the ECC will expand its capabilities to diversify national security endeavors to support emerging technologies across fields to meet requirements that expand to Space and Sea initiatives. As SEII has always supported fields in health, defense, transportation, and product capabilities across imaging and 3D solutions, SEII continues this effort to grow our partners in energy solutions that make sense to economic development, power capabilities that have sustenance, agricultural and environmental technology that will support a healthy future to supply the planet with resources, supply chain, tools, and talent that supports technology innovation.
