CCIH: Commercial Capabilities Integration Hub
The Commercial Capabilities Integration Hub (CCIH) was a collaboration between Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), the Southeast Innovation Institute (SEII), the Biomedical Research Foundation’s Entrepreneur Accelerator Program (EAP), and the Small Business Consulting Corporation (SBCC). The CCIH mission was to deliver technology solutions for the United States Air Force, with an emphasis on mission enhancing technologies and capabilities for AFGSC.
Air Force Global Strike Command
Air Force Global Strike Command - Activated Aug. 7, 2009, is a major command with its headquarters at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, in the Shreveport-Bossier City community. AFGSC is responsible for the nation's three intercontinental ballistic missile wings, the Air Force’s entire bomber force, to include B-52, B-1 and B-2 wings, the Long Range Strike Bomber program, Air Force Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) systems, and operational and maintenance support to organizations within the nuclear enterprise.
Southeast Innovation Institute
The Southeast Innovation Institute (SEII) is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 research institute that performs applied contract research, development, testing and evaluation for government and industry clients. SEII develops solutions to deliver on contracts and programs, facilitating collaboration specifically for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. We align technical and research solutions across our networks with commercial and defense markets to create leadership in innovation for our U.S. military to better defend our nation.
Small Business Consulting Corporation
The Small Business Consulting Corporation’s (SBCC) mission is to support government agencies in their pursuit and integration of cutting edge commercial products and solutions to enhance national security.
Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program
The Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP) offers mentorship programs designed to accelerate ideas, products or existing businesses into thriving companies quickly by providing intensive startup support. EAP’s team of mentors will work with companies on everything from business plans and models, to market and financial analysis, in order to prepare companies to receive funding, such as angel and venture capital investments.
